Election Confusion 🤔

With Brexit deadlines looming and the confusion over trying to work out what exactly the Boris agreement means for UK businesses and the general population, as well as what the different parties will do about Brexit if they get into power is a headache in itself, let alone discerning how they will run the country and ultimately which way you should vote 🤯.

Our Trends Chart

Depending on what newspaper you tend to read you will be presented with a very different assessment of the current issues. We have been looking at how we can help you with the mass of information about the next general election, and trends in the news in general...so we have created this chart:

How it works

This chart is a representation of the views in the media on the three main party candidates. This has been compiled from all of the different articles our AI 🤖 has read on the main parties campaigning for this election and looking at the journalistic bias for the party leaders and plotting it on this chart.

The Y-axis is the publisher sentiment so a scale of 0-100, where 0 is extremely negative and 100 is extremely positive versus time on the X-axis. The tone of each article that has been read on the topic by our AI is then plotted on the graph and a trend is drawn from these points.

You can also click on any of the other on trend topics (shown in the image on the right), to show the corresponding chart for those topics.

How does this help?

We are hoping this chart will allow you to see the Journalistic sentiment towards the different candidates running up to the elections, and how different stories which come out in the news affects the individuals. As well as looking at any current trend in the news and seeing the overall sentiment.

Here at OneSub, we are hoping you will be able to get a balanced view of each emerging news story by not only having one place to read different viewpoints but also being able to see the journalistic bias of each article before reading.
