Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin discuss geopolitical change
Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Moscow to discuss their strategic partnership and bilateral ties, which they say are entering a new era of cooperation. The two leaders called for responsible dialogue to resolve the Ukraine crisis, with Xi acknowledging Beijing and Moscow had signed an agreement bringing their ties into a new era of cooperation. Xi made a parting comment about China for Putin as he concluded his two-day trip to Moscow. "Change is coming that hasn't happened in 100 years," he said. Putin responded, "I agree," and Xi responded, "Take care of yourself, dear friend, please," and waved goodbye to the Russian president who wished him a "safe journey".
