Meanwhile, Spotify suffered its second outage within two weeks as nearly 35,000 users reported issues with the music streaming platform on Thursday.
And a networking outage at Microsoft Corp on Wednesday affected millions of users globally, taking down its cloud platform and services like Teams and Outlook.
On Wednesday, Meta Platforms Inc's social media apps experienced an outage with over 18,000 Instagram and 13,000 Facebook users reporting issues with accessing the apps, according to Downdetector.com.
The outage reports for WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger also spiked.
While the issue with Meta Platforms was resolved, Spotify experienced its second outage.
Nearly 35,000 users reported issues with the music streaming platform on Thursday, with the first outage taking place earlier this month.
Microsoft Corp also faced a networking outage on Wednesday, affecting millions of users globally.
Its cloud platform and services such as Teams and Outlook also went down.
Sources report that outages of Big Tech platforms are not uncommon and may occur due to several reasons beyond the companies' control.
Spotify Status tweeted, "Something's not quite right, and we're looking into it," while Meta Platforms did not provide any comments on the issue.
