Boris Johnson faces suspension from Parliament over Partygate scandal
The UK's former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, could be stripped of his parliamentary security pass if MPs back a privileges committee report, which said he repeatedly misled the country and held parliament in contempt. The report recommended that Johnson should have faced a 90-day suspension for committing repeated contempts of Parliament had he not already resigned in advance of its judgment. Senior Tories are split over whether to back sanctions against Boris Johnson.
